In an antique store I recently discovered an oil lamp. I took up the theme and developed a modern model for the project with the glassworks Meisenthal. The lamp consists of a glass tank and a element that is put over it to protect the flame from the wind. The wick is passed through a brass element, this absorbs the heat of the flame. The particularly orange flame fits perfectly well with the color of the blue or purple smoked glass versions.
